Nottingham Heliport

IMPORTANT NOTE

Nottingham Heliport is only to be accessed from the Southbound carriageway of the A46 (Fosse Way) – the use of the central reservation crossing gap opposite the entrance is prohibited on both entry and exit from the site.

Nottingham Heliport

From Nottingham join the A606 South towards the A46 (Melton/Leicester).

You will reach a large roundabout at Widmerpool (1), take the 4th exit and join the A46 Southbound towards Leicester (2).

Remain in the left lane and after approximately ½ mile you will pass the entrance to a Sawmill on the left (3), at this point indicate left and begin to slow down.

After a further 200 yards you will pass a low flying helicopter sign (4), shortly after this you will see 3 property entrances, the Heliport is the final one of the 3 and is indicated by a sign at the driveway entrance (5).

Nottingham Heliport

As indicated above the Heliport can only be accessed from the Southbound carriageway of the A46. When travelling from the South use the A46, you will pass the entrance on the opposite side of the carriageway. Exit at the Widmerpool Junction (1) (A606/Nottingham), take 5th exit and rejoin the A46 travelling South towards Leicester (2).

Remain in the left lane and after approximately ½ mile you will pass the entrance to a Sawmill on the left (3), at this point indicate left and begin to slow down.

After a further 200yds you will pass a low flying helicopter sign (4), shortly after this you will see 3 property entrances, the Heliport is the final one of the 3 and is indicated by a sign at the driveway entrance (5).

Nottingham Heliport

When leaving the heliport all vehicles must turn left onto the Southbound carriageway of the A46, the use of the central reservation crossing gap is prohibited.

Customers wishing to travel back towards Nottingham/The North should continue on the A46 for 1.3 Miles before taking the exit signposted Upper Broughton/Willoughby, at the T Junction turn right towards Willoughby. After crossing back over the top of the dual carriageway take the next right back onto the A46 signposted Newark/Nottingham.
